Every chest other than the wooden chest requires their respective key.
Ace Chests only spawn on the Archives and Chambers, with one guaranteed in the Forsaken Tower. In the Pyramid of Prophecy they can only appear within the pyramid itself.
Ace Keys can be dropped by Act 3 and 5 minibosses, and from any act boss rarely.
The Scorpion minibosses in Act 1 of the Pyramid of Prophecy are also able to drop Ace keys.
